In an interview on Tv Africa’s Breakfast live morning show with Lebene Abrokwa, he stated that he hopes we can find back some integrity into our lives and also hopes that the young ones growing are able to disassociate themselves from the ways we are showing them in terms of being a little bit more patriotic and in that regard therefore have some level of integrity especially in public life. He then added that, we’ve lost our sense of patriotism as a country and the only time we show patriotism is during football matches.

He also said that the ruling government has failed Ghanaians. “ As far as I’m concerned, the government has failed us , look free shs fantastic initiative, is in our constitution its been implemented. If a child is dead what is the point of the free shs? the free doesn’t add anything so in terms of priority you’ve got to keep that child alive first before they can take advantage of education. So health is key, if you are not alive or you are ill anything that is supposed to be given to you, you cannot take advantage of it.”

He revealed that the news on vaccines shortage is false. “Organizations that deals with the vaccines close their boxes September, so if by September you haven’t placed your order or paid for them, the vaccines are not on the shelf, you don’t go to a shelf and say I want it, you must pay for the vaccines, so if you don’t pay they don’t manufacture because it means you don’t need it. So there is no shortage of vaccines in the world, I mean this statement that there is a shortage is wrong, you didn’t pay for your vaccines they were not manufactured. So that is why we had to go to Nigeria and cote de voire for them .”

He further stated that the government has abysmally failed in terms of prioritizing health. And to him, you can play ‘chacha’ with certain things but not health. He said that he constantly asked the government to get the vaccines. “ When it came to vaccines, I fought him hammer and nail that look, pay this money, do what else you are doing but this we need because even the money you are refusing to pay , if measles and polio hits us, you will pay ten times that to sort it out.” He revealed.
