During today’s edition of Tv Africa’s Breakfast Live Morning Show, the Legal Practitioner emphatically made it known that he doesn’t understand the reason behind the refusal resignation of Ken Ofori Atta.

He accused the finance minister of financially benefiting at the expense of the country “ do you know the quantum of debt we need to pay and Ken Ofori Atta has benefited, the monies he’s benefited from, has he brought it back?, is government really sharing the burden that Ghanaians are going through, just because we have a stubborn president. Ken Ofori Atta should go.” He said.

He continued to insist on the fact that the International Monetary Fund(IMF)and the Americans wouldn’t refuse to help Ghana escape from the economic crisis.
“ The IMF, the Americans, they will help Ghana, they cannot afford not to help Ghana but if we (Ghanaians) push them (IMF) to the wall eh! the president is saying end of march we are hoping to get the bail out it will not be end of march this thing is going to go into April because there are certain things we haven’t been able to take care of.”

He also questioned why the finance minister Ken Ofori Atta thinks he is the one to resolve our problems. “ I don’t understand, why can’t he resign himself, why does he think he is the be all and end all to solve our problems, why? because have we been able to solve the problem, this is the time where we should be sitting together and say okay we owe this, we owe this and remember this debt is transcending other governments” he revealed.

He further said that the president is stuck on free educationalone. “ isn’t agriculture key? why is the president stuck on free education and free education alone, I’m not saying is not important but to give people free education without food which is most important?.” Opanin Jantuah rhetorically asked.
