Nana Ama McBrown is greeted royally after leaving UTV to join Media General (WATCH.)

Nana Ama McBrown, a Ghanaian actress and television personality, has officially joined Onua TV as the host of the "Onua Maakye" morning show.

Even though the reports had been dismissed as just rumors, McBrown’s rumored breakup with the Notwithstanding Media Group, owners of United Television, became widely circulated on social media after McBrown’s prolonged disappearance from the screens. Yet early on March 13th, 2023, social media users started to hear about her new station.

The TV3 location hosted her presentation on Monday, March 13.

A large contingent of the media company’s top broadcasters, including Berla Mundi, Cookie Tee, Roland Walker, and others, gathered to welcome the new signee. Captain Smart presided over the occasion, and Onua Maakye, the host, and award-winning gospel vocalist Opiesie Esther performed.The screen goddess will join the Onua brand inside the Media General group, per the post released by the company.

“Akwaabaa…. From the entire Media General family, we welcome the beautiful and amazing Nana Ama McBrown to the Onua family.

She is joining the Onua brand under the Media General group.Nana Ama Mcbrown had been employed by UTV as the host of United Showbiz, which aired every Saturday night, until her departure this morning.
