This meal can be served before your main course, as a side dish, or even after it.
1 large clove of garlic
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Grill at a medium temperature.
Use a fork to combine salt and garlic in a small bowl. Add the cayenne and paprika. To create a paste, combine lemon juice and olive oil.
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp and garlic paste. Toss to coat the shrimp completely.
Give the grill grate a little oil. Grill shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until opaque.
Serve after being transferred to a serving plate and garnish with lemon wedges.
