By altering up the spices and ingredients, you can easily alter the flavor.
Ingredients
1 to 1-1/4 pounds chicken breast
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup plain breadcrumbs
3-4 cups vegetable oil, or more as needed
Put the chicken in the food processor and pulse until chopped. Next, combine the spices, cornstarch, and water. Blend until smooth.
Shape the chicken mixture into a rectangle shape in your hand with a 1-1/2tablespoon measure, set it on a pan lined with baking paper, and freeze for 30 minutes.
In a frying pan or deep fryer, heat around 3-4 cups vegetable oil.
Dip each nugget in flour to coat it, then in egg, and finally in bread crumbs.
Fried the nuggets in batches, if required, for 6-8 minutes in oil.
Before serving, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate or tray to absorb some of the excess oil.
