Continuing his dominance of the Saudi Premier League, Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals in the first half to assist Al-Nassr defeat Damac FC’s poor opposition by the score of 3-0.
At the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, Damac welcomed Al-Nassr in an effort to stop the Ronaldo-led Knights of Najd. The Faris Al-Jabub were unable to contain the 38-year-old as Al-Nassr overcame them thanks to his hat-trick.
With the victory, Al-Nassr reclaimed first place in the Saudi Professional League, unseating Al-Ittihad, who had previously eliminated them from the league cup. Damac is now tied for sixth place with the two teams behind them in terms of points and is still outside the top six.
From the penalty spot, Cristiano Ronaldo gave Al Nassr the lead in the game’s 18th minute. He extended Al-advantage Nassr’s in the 23rd minute by deftly connecting to Al Ghannam’s delivery and then unleashing a potent left-footed shot that beat Moustapha Zeghba and went into the bottom left corner.
